The average age of the pastors in Japan is nearly 70; consequently, churches struggle to maintain their worship services and ministry. While some churches started holding online worship services, others are still closing and waiting to reopen.
A great news is that an 82 year-old pastor in Shizuoka prefecture started a Youtube worship service in his church two weeks ago. Pray for the encouragement of pastors and ministry leaders as they are faithfully and creatively serving in the local area.
