Equatorial Guinea
Equatorial Guinea is an unusual country in many ways. It has had the same President since 1979, although he is perhaps better described as wealthy despot, suppressing any political opposition. It is the only Spanish-speaking country in Africa. It became oil-rich, although the quality of life for most of the population was not transformed. Most recently, it has built a completely new capital on the mainland, naming it Cuidad de la Paz. May God work wonders and make it truly a city of peace, through the peace that only He gives.
